Nothing To See Here brings community members from the Rehabilitation Centre for the Blind together with artists to collaborate on exhibitions and performances to share in public spaces. In this version of the project, while using your sense of touch to explore what’s inside the box, you can hear participant artists share stories from their everyday life, providing an insight in to how they experience the world, how others respond to them, and how different spaces and interactions make them feel.

Nothing To See Here은 시각장애인들의 일상을 알아가는 프로젝트이다. The Rehabilitation Centre for the Blind에 관객을 초대하여 그들이 직접 만든 ‘투어’형식으로 시각장애인 센터를 소개해주며 그들이 그곳에서 하는 일들과 취미 활동 그리고 소소한 이야기를 들려준다.

Brisbane Powerhouse, Mosquito Foyer
November 17th - 29th, 2015

Artworks by members of the blind communities of Seoul and Brisbane are described, not displayed, in this unique new exhibition.

Each artwork is locked inside a cabinet, never to be seen. You’ll listen to audio recordings from each artist describing their work, or sharing an insight into their lives.  This way you’ll form your own impressions of the artwork without relying on sight.

Nothing to See Here

Gallery Factory
September 14th - 27th, 2015

The gallery windows were covered with black fabric and "Nothing to See Here 볼 것이 없다" was displayed.  The work took the form of a walk around the gallery facilitated by blind participants in collaboration with a team of artists.  The audience included blind and sighted guests and sighted guests were blindfolded.  After the sensory walk, we enjoyed a meal together in the gallery (still blindfolded), sharing our reflections on the performance and discussing our different ways of experiencing the world.
